3/26/2017 0 Comments PHR Grand FANS DAY 2017Today, I was not really planning to write another one story for my blog. because of too much pressure and stress, I'm currently facing right now. A lot of works and projects that must be submitted on the deadline for my school. It's not easy because I'm torn between going and have a good time or spending my whole day with paper works. But I chose to go and spend my time to loosen up and forget (all) the stress for the meantime. The day I've been waiting long before... it is really my first time to attend this event, and I really prepared for this one to gradually meet them all the writers of Precious Heart Romances book! I grabbed the opportunity to be there and meet them even though my schedule at school is fixed with lots of things to do. It was all worth it! I was so happy & excited even before we're arriving, I feel so giddy and sweaty because it was so hot (but never mind the weather..) I couldn't imagine myself how am I going to talk or react to the people there. I was also worried I myself, get the attack with my shyness that I will never allow happening. (geez.)

We couldn't have much time to prepare for that tour. But when we've been there, I was really mesmerized and captivated by the pristine beauty of that place. I've never experienced to go in Bicol region. That's why I am not very familiar in any from it. What I really wouldn't forget is when we went in Cagraray island, Misibis bay. It was really a beautiful and very relaxing place. If you want the most exclusive and extravagant accommodation, I recommend this for you to choose this one and I promise that you won't regret it. For additional info, many tourists been there... A best place to remember... This is the Moraville Hotel where they held our breakfast before trekking in Consocep falls. The food is so good especially their "laing". It was so delicious!
We really enjoyed eating food while having our conversation about where we were going. 7/14/2015 0 Comments Travel Madness Expo..2015Welcome turista! This was my first time to attend travel expo. it was very fun & helpful for us to expose in that kind of activities. That day, we're not really expecting to have activities & go to MOA. but our professor agreed that we should go since we can use it in our itinerary. Students of LPU are the one who is in charge in the ticketing booth & assisting people. I just hope someday we were also able to experience that, held an event & be one of them. Many hotels, airlines & travel agencies were there that offers discount & cheaper fare. It is exactly what everyone wants. Freebies!!! Ha-aha. I'm just kidding. there are lots of games & activities that we participate also. As the day ends, I think I can find good company to apply for an ojt soon. It may be a tiring day, but I know all the flyers & brochures we get will help me to have an opportunity to work in big company someday. :))
3/29/2015 0 Comments Puertoristaļ»æOnboard! In less than a minute, we will be going to ride on a boat going to Puerto Galera. This is the Ati Batangas Port where we are going to have our transportation. The passenger's fee for us is only 24 PHP. Because we are a student. March 11, 2015, at exactly 09:00 am, we will experience to travel by just a boat! I’m sure it was very exciting since I have the experience to ride on it even before when I was a kid. Upon arriving, we see all the islands that scattered all over the sea. & in the middle of the ocean, it was very beautiful view. The deep blue sea, the mountains that are blocked by the clouds. Far from the city where I used to live. We’re finally here in Puerto Nirvana Resort! We’re we are going to have our first activity: Snorkeling. :) We just fix our things & ourselves quickly so we can go to our next destination, the Haligi Beach. Get our lunch and be prepared to explore under the sea. Welcome to Puerto Nirvana Resort! The Haligi Beach This is my very first time to try this kind of equipment & it was very hard to use this at first. You need to adjust & have a lot of more patience to learn. So I did my best to learn because I really want to see the beautiful species lying under the sea. & of course, it is “once in a lifetime opportunity” that we have on our tour. So why will I waste my time thinking that “I cannot do it?”. And most importantly, not to enjoy this activity? Going to the place where many corals are, Manong (bangkero & our tour guide) instructed us what are the dos & donts. I was nervous back then because he said we will just hold on a rope tie on the boat until we float. I’m so afraid. Really afraid of the sea urchins (that kind of species really creepy!) that might get us wounded. It has many shapes, small, big. It was like a needle that is so sharp. But later on, as we see all the kinds of coral reefs & fishes, we are finally relieved & didn’t bother anymore that kind of feeling. My eyes are so relaxing by this view. How peacefully & calmly this creation of god. It’s just sad to know, that some of the corals are already dead, & I just figured out that we haven’t seen some many kinds of fishes as we explore. Our second day: Team Building (The conflict game) I called it our game “conflict” because all of the game we played is never that easy & you can’t figure it out quickly. Our tour guide, sir Ferdie, sir Edwin & Kuya Aaron the Sardonyx Team gave us a difficult but fun to play games. To enhance ourselves, to cooperate, & have a leadership on a team. The game is begun by ‘’getting to know each other” & get a unique team name & a cheering. This activity helps me to focus, to be a wiser & to express more of myself. I didn’t even realize that I can do it by myself. I am also the one who name our team: PUERTORISTA (see how inspired me by Puerto Galera. :D) I think it would very helpful to me for my future career someday. This kind of team building was so awesome. I am so thankful to our tour guides from all the things that I’ve learned from this game. Third activity: Going to Tamaraw falls In here, we’ve had to got time out & take a time to relax, & get some pictures from the falls. Last activity: Hunting souvenir items at White Beach. Unluckily, I didn’t get pictures from the white beach because I was so busy that time to look for something to buy. I didn’t also get a chance to see the full view of the beach. (Aw!) Did I just almost miss it? I guess so. hu-hu. That was so sad for me. Anyway, I still have some items to bring it home for me & for my family. An event in Puerto Nirvana Resort We get a chance to have a simple party & small talks between the owners of the resort, Mr. Robert Roxas, & of cours, the team of Sardonyx. Mr. Roxas shared some knowledge & views about Puerto Galera. Some of us ask a few questions regarding from that place. From this moment, I’ve realized that there are some places that still not discover & recognized by the people. We just have to explore more, appreciate the value of historical places, sites, & their culture. Like in Bulabod Beach. There is a part of me that left from that place. & I think I have to go back there again someday & established my own resort & build my own businesses. Being a tourism student in University of Caloocan City I really had fun going from this place, earned knowledge, built a new relationships from other people, & had a best experience that I will never ever forget. 3/18/2015 0 Comments Lady in redBeauty isn't having a pretty face. This lovely evening makes me wonder do I look beautiful tonight? While wearing this elegant gown, walking in the aisle & people looking at you, I am just so lucky to have the opportunity to be part of this event. An 8th Annual DTHIM Convention Grand Ball Night. To witness this event, hear all the talks of speakers, I can now proudly share my experiences to everyone. With all the beautiful & handsome people who attend that night. & to all our faculties and our beloved head, it made me feel like I’m one of those stars on the Grammy awards night. Ha-ha! (Just kidding.) But before that, let’s begin at the top where all it was begun. This is our 2nd experience to attend a convention. We are so rush that time because we’ve been for a tour for almost 3 days. We are really tired & one day is not enough for a rest. We have to prepare for a convention. Although I had my gown, I don’t have yet a mask to wear since it was a masquerade ball. And we have to wear a beautiful, unique & most elegant mask except for the stunning gown & suit. The one who are the most beautiful will win a prize. So that day, we rush things. Even my make up couldn’t ever more great. Luckily, we were still able to attend the convention & not too late. Finally, we’ve just arrived at 12:50 in the afternoon at InterContinental Hotel. It is located in Ayala Avenue, Makati City near in Dusit Thani Hotel & at the side of Glorietta 4. The theme was: “Creating a culture of leadership & excellence towards efficient tourism governance.” It was focuses on leadership skills, on how to be a good leader & to learn more about in tourism industry. The speaker share some advises & topics in leadership like, “Lead originates from the Anglo Saxon word laed meaning a journey, a road, a way. Thus, leadership involves taking people from one position to another; hence, it is in periods of great change when really effective leadership is most needed.” It taught me so many things like of course, they say that "to be a good leader, you must be a good follower." & what actions that I need to have, what knowledge I supposed to add for being part of this industry. I must take the initiative to be learned. & what most importantly, I always have this in mind, “go where you grow” continue to learn new things, accept failures, commit mistakes & enjoy everything that I’ve experience each day. Feeling like a celebrity with my classmates, hrm student, & our beloved proffesors. with my beautiful friends. I'm just so amazed how they turned into an elegant woman. funny thing is, we 're not used to be like this before. " I truly, truly believe that beauty is something that comes from within." - emma watson being who you are is the best way to make you shine in every corner in the crowd. -jeng with this handsome guy. 3/2/2015 0 Comments DTHIM FAIR 2015This is gonna be the best day of our lives. This is not just an ordinary day for us. But an event we must enjoy & be the most competitive one. DTHIM fair celebrate every year to all the tourism, hrm & hrs students in north and south campus. It was an event that gives us experiences and shares our talents & knowledge in every competition. Like “Palarong Pinoy” last year, I’ve joined that game where I was the team in orange. Their games that I played are sack racing, longest line, & batuhan bola. It was fun to be with other students, because in these activities, you’ve gained a lot of more confidence, you know how to trust someone, creating a team building & have good time with others. some memoris last year... Mark your calendar...so here we are!!! Our first day in Congressional campus. We've finally were here and see their school. just waiting to start the event. As always,we were so early bird. Other activities including quiz bee, tour-guiding, etc., then this year, I am the one who represents the orange team again. On the first day, February 23, 2015 they start the program of dancing Sumba. At first, it was exciting because of the steps they teach us. But later on, it was become boring & tiring (plus the fact that I’m not so good in dancing). Then after that, the game was all just started. The oca team! When we got so hungry, we’ve just find place to eat food. This is the chicken skin where I buy. It was just 5.00 php. You will just dip it from the soy sauce. It was crispy & yummy. Then as we get strolling, we just passed by this mini store where they sell tasty & unfamiliar food. & guess what? The owner of this on one was American. We’ve just got a chance to interview with him & taste their specialty: Corn dog & choco dip fry oreo. He said that in their country, it was very popular. I already know that before he even tells it because even in the movies of American or in TV show, it was always featured & base on the looks of it, it was not just a typical food you can see here in Philippines. We really had a great time talking to him & get along with them (her wife) as we left to their place. 2nd day: This is the moment. Before the start of program, we are already fixing & setting our things in diorama. We need to have lots of patience and time on it ‘cause we don’t want to get run out of time preparing for that in contest. So as the program starts, we are relieved that we already finalize it, our diorama & cuisine. Our group, who was one of the first that introduce diorama: The Camiguin Island. We are so excited & nervous at the same time. All of us are supporting & helping each other to present it in the best way. some contestants here are reviewing & studying before the quiz bee starts. Then before they announce all of the winners… we’ve joined in boodle fight were all of organizers prepare it. This is the 2nd time around that I’ve experience eating with my own bare hands, with lots of people in a banana leaf. Such a great experience! Then the program continued until they announce the winner of all activities. My classmate, rhandie won a first place in quiz bee contest. While mau & camille won in tour guiding. After 100 years of waiting…ha-ha! (Just joking!) They announce the winner in diorama….. And… voila! We just won again!!! Best diorama. Title holder. Back to back. Defending champion. We were so very happy that day. Fulfilled. It was all worth it! It’s on our history. I’m just so lucky that I’ve become part of this batch, on this school year that I will never ever forget in my college days. Adios amigos! 2/19/2015 0 Comments say hello to summer!just a throwback from where i started before... The summer is coming. And finally, we, the students will have a long day vacation. We will have the time to spend it with our families or friends. Some activities like going out on a beach, out of town trip, etc., And me? I really loved to swim! Even though I’m not good at it. Still, it’s not the reason not to enjoy the beach. I remember when I was a little girl, when we’ve been on a Batangas outing. It’s our neighbor’s birthday so they invited us to come & go. I was so happy back then since I’m with my family. But actually, we already had an outing together before (just me & my family). It’s my mother’s birthday but I don’t remember anymore the place we’ve been through and we didn’t have a chance to get a souvenir of pictures together too. It’s just a mere fact that it will always be just memories for me, of my childhood past. Anyway, there are some things that I could still remember every detail of it. Like when I went in Pampanga. It was so fun especially when we’ve had an outing. That is my first time to take a slide on a long sliding pool with my friends. my color just turned into red, then later i was like a "nog-nog" at that time. Then as I grew up, many things had changed. I know now how so busy I am. Because being a happy go lucky & carefree isn’t that you’ve always want to be. There are full of responsibilities now, so much priority and may task. But whenever and whatever it is, I still have find time to go out and have some fun. Like going out with my friends after a long day of work. This is where we went in Adventure Resort Bulacan, a night outing with them. We just get together, bonding and reuniting with my old friends way back in high school. This is how I really miss them. It was also over whelming to experience to have a work & got your rest day by giving an outing to everyone by your boss. With my co-workers & my boss, we get a chance to take time to relax, enjoy the summer & be with our family before going back to work again. at Plums Resort Pansol Calamba Laguna This was also taken last year in Dad's Resort in Malabon with my cousin and my grandmother. It was also fun but a little sad because we were only just the three of us. Anyway, we have food, a swim wear & a sun block. So why bother to be sad? We were there to enjoyed and have fun. Swimming is fun. go wherever you are ... Then our latest activity now was swimming lesson. Every Thursday, we have a swimming lesson held in Oreta Sports Complex at Malabon City. Together with my classmates, we have to wear proper swimming attire so we choose the swim wear that will fit to us and make us comfortable to swim. A rush guard. On our first day it was exciting and a little bit nervous because some of us know how to swim, while others can’t. And I’m one of those persons who don’t know how to swim. & the fact that it’s our subject and we have to pass it. It was scary though, I just need a little time to learn. As we get into the pool, it was almost freezing at that time. But later on, when our professor teaches us what we will do, we become more confident being there in the water. I’ve become more extra attentive to myself. Of course, safetyness is vey important. 2/6/2015 0 Comments biyaheng ilocos Windmills, sand dunes, light house, bell tower, rock formation ... and other attractions that you'll surely won't miss. Ilocos is truly a great place to visit. As we arrived going to Ilocos, i feel jittery because of excitement. in three days, we will experience to leave in our home and explore something that we'd never seen & do before. on our way i feel so drowsy, it was so cold in the bus that i couldn't get to sleep. plus the fact that it was raining on the outside. ( i'm also worried during our road trip due to the bad weather.) i'm sure everyone else feels the same way too. it was a long...trip.actually. until we finally came in. it was already 5 o'clock in the morning. after a long day of trip, we went to Heritage Resort of Caoayan to have our lunch/breakfast. the food was so good, i remember the "pinakbet" where my uncle ( my auntie's husband ) used to cook for us in his own style since he lived before in pangasinan. Then we went in Baluarte, owned by Mr. Chavit Singson. a well-known politician in the country. This place is so attractive & enjoyable as a tourist attraction & entertainment also. because it features gigantic dinosaurs, there are information about the animals. & if you want, you can also ride on a miniature horse with your friend. The Cape Bojeador Lighthouse is just so tall that it gives the panoramic view of the south china sea. in this place, many artists had shoot there like a popular tv show, Walang hanggan(starring Coco Martin & Julia Montes). some scenes are capture there. wwooowwww..... i am so lucky! one of my idol ( JM ) have been there. i am so happy. :) and also, the horror movie Shake,Rattle & Roll ( starring Kathryn Bernardo & Louisse de los Reyes ). very nice place...really. i hope it doesn't have any scary story. creepy..... Coco Martin & Julia Montes in Walang hanggan teleserye For me, getting there in Burgos, Kapurpurawan is much a lot of harder than in others. because the way to go in rock formation, it's like a rocky road. but once you get there, you will finally get the chance to see the view of all rock ages without thinking that you're tired. excellent!!! One of my unforgettable embarrasing experience is when my doll shoes got damaged. and because of that, i wasn't able to use it again that's why that time, i need to bought a slipper & use it the whole time and take note, i am the only one not wearing a close shoes. i am so ashamed. well, i've learned my lessons enough. After kapurpurawan, next is Bangui Windmills. The sea & the sand are approaching us to go near to the water. but unluckily, we need to get back in the bus as fast as we can so that we can go to our next destination. but before we leave, we make sure we've got something to have as a souvenir. we take pictures in the windmills, make jump shots, buy key chains. i already make video as we left the giant & unforgettable, windmills. isn't that amazing?! when after you go to church, you can visit the Bantayan Bell Tower. this place is so wonderful that all tourist must have been see this heritage site. with my friends, going to the top of the tower, all i want to do is to shout, "i'm the queen of the world!!" (but of course, it's not allowed to that. Ha-ha). i just take the moment to be contented being there in that place. spend a lot of my time to explore as fast as we can. & make some moments lasts. This place is surrounded with sand & seas...perfect for having an outing with families & friends. the food is so tasty & delicious. thanks to the lunch held in Plaza del mar, i recharged myself to explore the place. Vigan is one of the best place to visit in Ilocos. because of the old structures of the museums, the landmarks of furnitures & antiques they made. & the delecacies you'll surely won't forget to buy. still, i am mesmerized of how they managed to maintain the city, of how long they preserved their culture. Marcos Mausoleum This is one of those museums worth going to. There's enough information about his personal life & career. i got to know him better. seeing his body at the mausoleum is fine but the music inside makes me creepy, same with the flowers around. i really wonder if it's really lying there. well, anyway. i was touching to still see the physical remains of President Ferdinand Marcos despite the so many years that passed since he died. visitors are reminded not to touch anything around the coffin. breathe in, breath out. are you ready to take the dangerous activity? not totally danger, but extraordinary adventure. never forget to go in La paz sand dunes & experience the sand cruising, also known as "4 by 4 ride" & sand boarding. experince the thrilling activities that you will enjoy (i'm sure of that.) just keep your hold tight & let you feel you are flying around the world. making an interview with the staff of resortsin Intramuros, Manila. Caloocan day. where we actually celebrating an event in Bonifacio Monument. usually students from all high school and universities in Caloocan go there to be one that event. every year, we have to acknowledge the day of valor. that's why me and my classmates went there... but after that, we find ourselves enjoying each other's company that we have to extend our time and go to somewhere else. then, as a tourism students, we don't just want to hang out and have fun. but to explore and make more familiarize about places. so we go to Intramuros,Manila. we chose to go there because it's more cheaper and nearer to travel. and plus, no hassle to take a trip. first, we walk along to Intramuros street were they called it also "walled city" then we visit to Manila Cathedral and make some prayers on ourselves. We passed by Plaza Ezpaña,IV Centenario De La Expedicion Maritima Mexico Filipinas, Aduana Building, Memorare-Manila 1945, San Agustin Church and finally Fort Santiago. i really enjoyed going out with my friends especially it was an educational trip. overloading experiences, knowledges, and memories that i can keep it forever. In Manila Cathedral. i usually go to church by myself or sometimes with my cousin.. but as of this moment, i'm so happy that i'm with them. every now & then, i try to look back at the past where those people made us proud to our own country.especially for our heroes ... |
